Oriol Castro-Herero


Oriol Castro-Herero was born in Barcelona in 1994. Since he was a teenager he has been training in acting, while later studying an English Studies Degree and a MA in Screenwriting. His acting training includes drama studies at Eòlia Drama School, and courses with Mel Churcher, Luci Lenox and Boyan Ivic.

He has worked as an English teacher for many years, as well as in the communication team of a project funded by the European Parliament, and as a producer of several dissemination spots for the EIT Health. Among his artistic projects, he was co-director and actor of the University of Barcelona’s theater group, and has starred in different theatrical and audiovisual projects. In 2017, he wrote, directed and starred in his first low-budget feature film “Minnesota”, followed in 2019 by «ring of a man called sheshonq», currently in post-production.

Since 2019, he works as an acting teacher at the drama school Actua!Studio.
