Quico Ferrero

Biography

Quico Ferrero grew up in a small village of Valencia in 1983 where he spent his adolescence before shortly moving to Madrid. The city was a dream for him since it was depicted as magical in the Spanish Almodóvar Cinema with a place of opportunities and rebellious lifestyles, far away from the Valencian surroundings of orange trees facing the Mediterranean.

There is an unutterable secret that he now confesses to: he used to watch the classic 1978 film Superman on VHS every month in the early nineties. He truly adored Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman and observing their mastery, again and again, was unwarily like having a kind of mentor in the legendary actors. This inspiration led him to develop countless theatre personal projects to broaden his versatility as a character actor and has appeared in both TV shows and film during the last decade.

He then got obsessed with acting techniques in his twenties meanwhile studying a BA in Humanities at the University of Alcalá de Henares. After residing and studying Theatre at London Metropolitan University, he returned to Spain to improve his skills and underwent training as a professional actor until 2012.
