Biography

David Chevers is a South African born actor, singer, songwriter. Currently he plays Halston Greaves/The chairman on pureflixs revelation road sieres that airs later this year. He also stars in Primacy as Doctor Preston opening at this years sitges film festival. Other film credits include Waiting for Goldman(2021) way down/the vault (2021) Leavy(2016) Inside(2016) Escape from Marwin(2016) & In The Box(2016).

He also has performed in various plays and has performed with The Barcelona Improv Group His theatrical credits include playing Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show, Rolf in The Sound Of Music, The Arbiter in Chess, Jonathan Harker in Dracula and Sun City’s Let There Be Rock where he was featured as a lead vocalist for over a year.

Other show credits include playing Tosher in Fings ain’t wot they used to be for the Joburg Theatre where he reappeared later to play the lead of John Kelly in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton’s The Boys In The Photograph.

He received a Naledi Award Nomination for this role. David discovered Europe, or rather Sweden, for the very first time thanks to the Cape Town Operas production of Showboat which also saw him play the lead role of Steve Baker at The Chatalet in Paris, France.

David works between Barcelona and Cape Town. Television credits include playing Bobby on South african soap/medical drama Binnelanders as well as presenting for the learning channels Jungle Cafe. Other tv shows include Die Byl, Projeck Dina, Reinas, Acacias 38, cuentame como paso as well as el crac.
