Marina Durán
Biography
I am a Spanish actress currently living in Barcelona. However since I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, French and German I have also been lucky enough to work and live in Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Sydney and New York which has given me a culturally diverse perspective that has enriched my artistic work.
My career has mostly been centered on Film and Television. Having a weakness for comedy it is no wonder, one of the highlights of my career has been working on the film “Director’s Cut” which won The Golden Key Award Best Comedy Film Festival Americano in 2015. I also had the secondary role in “Asmodexia” a feature film which was nominated Best Film in the Official Iberoamericana Festival in 2014. As well as playing the lead for “El Dibuix “ which was awarded Best Emotional Short for BCNSS.
Since being based here in Barcelona I have appeared various times on Catalonian Television. Having a background in dance and movement I have also taken part in numerous performances and audiovisual projects which I have also enjoyed.
