Michael Strelow

Biography

Michael was born and raised Kansas. He’s been in love with cinema since the moment he saw the opening sequence of Star Wars as a small boy. He studied photography and videography in primary school and learned to tell stories visually. He went on to study film at the University of Kansas. Do to a lack of drama students interested in participating in student projects, he soon found himself in front of the camera in his own and classmates projects. It was here that he fell in love with acting, and with a solid understanding of both sides of the camera it was what he decided do dedicate his passion to. He has lived and worked in both Los Angeles and New York City, where he got his first film, TV and stage credits. He now lives in Barcelona, Spain where he continues to garner credits working on international film, television and commercial projects. He’s had the pleasure of working with and learning from such great directors as Neil Jordan, Olivier Assayas and Alejandro Amenábar. He is a founding member of the Blue Book Theatre Co. in Barcelona.
